Every casino on CryptoGamba is tested with real money by a named reviewer before it gets a rating. We deposit, we play, we withdraw, and we ask support the questions a real player would ask. This page explains exactly how a review is built, how we score, and how we make money, so you can judge our judgement.

How a review is built
- We open a real account and deposit real crypto. No demo mode, no press account. We use the currencies the casino advertises, at stakes a real player would use.
- We play across the main categories. Slots, table games and live games where offered, so the review reflects the actual library, not the promo page.
- We withdraw. This is the test that matters most. We record how long approval takes, whether KYC is demanded, and whether the payout matches the advertised limits.
- We ask support a hard question in writing. Usually about withdrawal limits or bonus terms, so we can measure both the answer and the response time.
- We read the terms in full. Restricted countries, bonus wagering, maximum cashout, and the licence. The fine print is where the real story is.
What we score
- Payout reliability. Withdrawal speed, published limits, and whether the casino pays large wins in full or in stages. This carries the most weight.
- Licence and accountability. A licence whose validator link works and names the operating company, versus a badge that links nowhere.
- Game fairness. Provably fair systems or audited RTP, and whether the game library is real or a thin reskin.
- Bonus honesty. Whether the wagering requirements, maximum cashout and game weighting are disclosed clearly or buried.
- Support quality. Speed, clarity, and whether the answer to a hard question is accurate.
When a casino fails
If an operator refuses a valid withdrawal, hides its licence, or pays a documented winner in locked bonus funds, we say so in the review and we do not rank it highly to keep a commercial relationship. A casino we would not deposit into ourselves does not get a recommendation, no matter what it pays us.
How we make money
CryptoGamba earns a referral commission when you sign up to some casinos through our links. That commission never changes a rating, a score, or the order of a list. We rank on the tests above, then attach affiliate links where they exist. Where a strong operator has no affiliate deal, it is still ranked on merit. Full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.
Who writes the reviews
Reviews are written and tested by our named review desk, led by Alex Mercer. Every review carries a byline, and corrections are made in the open when a casino changes its terms or a reader flags something we got wrong. If you spot an error, email us and we will fix it.
18+. Gambling carries real financial risk. Only play with money you can afford to lose. If it stops being fun, free confidential help is available at begambleaware.org.
